According to recruiting estimates, demand for digital marketing talent is at 56%, while active supply is 24%. 56% of companies hiring this year require digital marketing expertise and are actively seeking digitally fluent candidates. Digital skills that are sought include content creation and curation, mobile digital skills, social media, SEO/SEM, lead generation, advertising and content marketing, to name a few.
